Major donation aids Louisville high school after intentional fire damages classrooms

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Days before Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) students went back to class, investigators determined a fire at a south Louisville high school was intentionally started.

The classrooms for the health science program at Marion C. Moore School, also known as Moore High School, is on a rebound thanks to a large donation from a nonprofit.

SOS International, a nonprofit based in Louisville, is giving $10,000 to the school to help replace the equipment needed for students to continue their education…
