LMPD Detective hurt in apartment fire started by 2 juveniles

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) – A Louisville Metro Police detective is being treated at UofL hospital for smoke inhalation and minor burns after trying to evacuate residents from a burning apartment building on Saturday.

According to LMPD, officers responded to an apartment fire at the 550 Apartments on Saturday, August 23, at around 1:07 p.m. local time.
