Louisville’s 2 big September music festivals expected to draw 370,000 people

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky Venues is preparing for a big September with more than $42 million in estimated economic impact from two massive music festivals in Louisville.

In total, the Kentucky Exposition Center and Kentucky International Convention Center are expected to bring an overall economic impact of more than $50 million to the area with 15 events just in September.

Bourbon & Beyond, which will be held at the Highland Festival Grounds from Sept. 11-14, is expected to draw 210,000 people and make an economic impact of more than $24 million. A week later, Louder Than Life will follow Sept. 18-21. with about 160,000 in expected attendance with another $18 million in expected economic impact…
