Mom turns pain into action after losing son to suicide

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A mother is trying to turn her pain into a legacy to stop more families from feeling the impact of bullying.

“I didn’t think my 12-year-old would be capable of committing suicide. I would never have dreamed of that, but here I am,” said Audra Upshaw, who lost her son, Silas Pollock, to suicide back in April.
