LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thousands spent their Labor Day at the 25th Annual United Labor Picnic at Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville to celebrate and honor union workers and their families. The Greater Louisville Central Labor Council hosts the event every year and represents over 54,000 people from over 50 unions in Kentucky.
In Kentucky, Labor Day is more than just a day off work.
