5-year-old Louisville boy dies from ‘traumatic injuries’ after fall

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A death investigation is underway after Louisville police say a 5-year-old boy died from his injuries after a fall Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to a home in the 2900 block of Conestoga Avenue just after 3 p.m. Sept. 2 on a report that a child had “sustained traumatic injuries due to a fall,” Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in a statement. That’s near Algonquin Park in the city’s Park Duvalle neighborhood.

The 5-year-old was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital as LMPD’s Homicide Unit took over the investigation due to the severity of the child’s injuries…
