Man receives 11 year sentence in 2019 killing of young Louisville father

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – More than six years after a young father was gunned down on his way home from holding his newborn twins, the second of three men charged in his death has now learned how long he’ll spend in prison.

Cedell Richardson Junior took a plea deal and has now been sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Prosecutors say he and two others, Clifton Jones Junior and Dashawn Garrison, shot and killed Tyrese Garvin during a drive-by in the Smoketown neighborhood in 2019…
