Louisville man arrested for alleged felony assault on a state trooper

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Louisville man is in jail after Kentucky State Police say he assaulted a trooper on I-24 in Livingston County.

According to officials, a trooper spotted Ravon Briggs walking on the I-24 Cumberland River Bridge.

The trooper stopped to check on and assist him off the interstate, as pedestrians are not permitted to walk along limited access highways. Once the trooper stopped, he stated that Briggs refused to identify himself…
