LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Clark County, Indiana is improving how it locates those who wander away due to a medical condition.
Project Lifesaver, the life-saving initiative originally launched by Pilot Club of Jeffersonville, is back thanks to a collaborative team effort by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County 911, and the Clark County health department.
The program uses proven radio-frequency technology and specially-trained responders to quickly find and safely return individuals prone to wandering due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism or other cognitive conditions…
