It’s strictly third down yardage, a veritable tush push, and surely one of the shortest relocations ever (moving vans not required; see cover photo).
Parlour Pizza New Albany will be closed during the week to come (Sept. 15 – 21) to facilitate its move from a current home at 225 State St. to 115 W. Market St., where the old Hitching Post tavern has been comprehensively expanded and renovated to greet the new occupant.
Thus far there has been no announcement about the future use of the historic multi-level building on State St., which housed Wick’s Pizza for many years prior to Parlour’s arrival.
As a side note, to be filed under “Spelling Matters, People”: We speak here of Parlour Pizza, not Parlor Doughnuts; the latter recently installed a chain link on New Albany’s north side…
