A Kentucky woman allegedly told several people that she intended to kill her younger sister by setting her bed on fire while she slept.
Addison Brown, 22, was arrested by police in Louisville after an investigation into a fire she is now accused of setting intentionally. According to an arrest warrant reviewed by Law&Crime, police said Brown was responsible for setting a mattress on fire while her younger sister was sleeping on it. The alleged incident occurred on June 1, and after arson investigators looked into the events surrounding the fire, they found that Brown had allegedly sent a number of incriminating text messages afterwards.
According to the search warrant, Brown fled immediately after the fire, which did not result in any injuries. Brown’s sister, whom Law&Crime is not naming, “woke up with flames next to her” and quickly put the fire out with a pillow. She called for assistance, and the fire was extinguished by the time first responders arrived…
