LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro has spent $88,664 of taxpayer money so far in 2025 to clean up graffiti. It’s a cost city officials call both preventable and damaging to neighborhoods.
According to the Louisville Metro Department of Codes and Regulations, it has addressed 2,553 graffiti vandalism cases as of this article. In 2024, the department addressed a total of 2,925 cases. Its crews continue to work to restore walls, signs and buildings damaged by graffiti.
