Former southern Indiana police officer sentenced for lying while purchasing firearms

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A former southern Indiana police officer was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison.

Todd Wilson, 52, of Charlestown, Indiana, pleaded guilty to making a false statement while purchasing a gun, the United States Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of Indiana said.
