LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Chair of the Public Safety Committee, Councilman Dan Seum Jr. (Dist. 13) and his vice chair, Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins (Dist. 1) sponsor an ordinance changing the metro’s park ranger service to the Louisville Parks Police.
“We have a lot of parks and there’s a lot of things happening in these parks,” the primary sponsor of the ordinance, Seum, said. “We just have to make sure they’re protected.”
