LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A juvenile has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman near the Shawnee Park boat ramp in Louisville last weekend.
Officers were called to the reported shooting around 3:24 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in the 4600 block of Shawnee Park Drive, Sgt. Matt Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said at the time.
Once on scene, police found a woman in her 30s who had been shot multiple times in a wooded area near the boat ramp. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Sanders said. Her family later identified her as Rachel Hughes, 32.
