Homicide suspect captured in southern Indiana soybean field after police chase

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Wisconsin homicide suspect was arrested in southern Indiana on Tuesday after a high-speed chase.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found Demonta Hambright by using Flock cameras at a nearby truck stop while he was in a stolen vehicle.

Police said when they tried to make contact, Hambright drove off. But the pursuit ended after he crashed on Charlestown-Memphis Road. Hambright tried to run away from police but he was found by officers in a nearby soybean field…
