Former Louisville officer convicted in Breonna Taylor case ordered to report to prison

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Nearly a year after his conviction, former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison has been ordered to turn himself in on Thursday to serve his prison sentence.

In November 2024, a federal jury found Hankison guilty of violating Breonna Taylor’s civil rights during a 2020 police raid of her home.

He was sentenced to 33 months in prison.
