Over 30 flash flood emergencies hit Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — On 7th and Magnolia streets, an SUV couldn’t make it through the afternoon’s peak rush of rain. Nobody was injured.

Similar stories repeated throughout Louisville according to Monica Harkins, a spokesperson for MetroSafe. By 5:00 p.m., 30 calls for water-related emergencies came in. She said more kept coming.
