LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Hillview man is accused of leading police on a chase for more than an hour before a Kentucky State Police trooper ended it with a pit maneuver.
Gilberto Rosario, 21, had two active warrants at the time Louisville Metro Police officers tried to pull him over late Wednesday night, according to court documents. Police said Rosario was seen by officers at Bluelick and South Park roads around 11:10 p.m., but when they pulled up behind him, Rosario did donuts in the intersection before driving the wrong way in the northbound lanes of Bluelick Road.
Police said Rosario continued as officers chased him, narrowly missing passing cars as well as an officer all while his headlights were turned off. KSP eventually took over the chase, at which point they clocked Rosario going as fast as 130 mph.
