LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Firefighters responded early Friday morning to a home in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood, which suffered heavy damage from a blaze.
According to LFD Captain Donovan Sims, crews arrived at the 3000 block of River Park Drive around 1:30 a.m. following reports of a fire and a possible shooting. LMPD officers confirmed there was no shooting at the scene.
Firefighters found heavy flames at the rear of the two-story home but no occupants were inside. The fire was brought under control in less than 20 minutes with 25 firefighters on scene, and no injuries were reported…
