City agencies come together for cleanup effort in west Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The city of Louisville joined forces with several partner agencies Friday for a coordinated cleanup in the Jacobs neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police, Metro Public Works, the Metropolitan Sewer District, the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness and Brightside teamed up for a first-of-its-kind cleanup effort. The project was focused on Powell, Craig and Wheeler avenues in west Louisville.
