One Of Louisville’s Most Desirable Neighborhoods Offers Generational Kentucky Charm, Golf, And Galleries

Louisville, Kentucky is home to many charming areas, like Nulu, an artsy district and foodie haven full of trendy shops, and Old Louisville, a historic neighborhood with a legendary twisted tree. But, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Louisville is Crescent Hill.

Crescent Hill is considered one of the best Louisville neighborhoods to live in, thanks to its abundance of great schools and historic charm. It’s easy to get active here, too, thanks to the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center, tennis courts, the Crescent Hill Golf Course, and the Crescent Hill Reservoir and Gatehouse, which is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. The neighborhood has plenty of eateries, cafés, galleries, and boutiques, making it an attractive spot for both residents and visitors.

Located about 4 miles east of downtown Louisville, Crescent Hill is located between two forks of Beargrass Creek. It borders the neighborhoods of Clifton and St. Matthews, and public bus routes make it easy to get around. Although there are no hotels in Crescent Hill, there are vacation rentals in the neighborhood on Airbnb as well as multiple hotels in nearby districts, including a Hilton Garden Inn in St. Matthews and the charming Bellwether Inn in the historic Highlands neighborhood.

Art, dining, and golf in Crescent Hill

Whether you live in Louisville or you’re visiting from out of town, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy in Crescent Hill.
