One person arrested following robbery incident in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A Louisville man has been arrested following a robbery in Hardin County on Friday afternoon, according to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded around 2:30 p.m. to the 700 block of Star Mills Road, south of Elizabethtown, after a report of a robbery and a stolen vehicle. The victim told officers that the suspect, who was known to him, was armed with a handgun and had also stolen his car.

Later that day, the stolen vehicle was detected by a Flock camera in Elizabethtown. Elizabethtown Police Department officers located the vehicle and pursued it southbound on I-65. The car crashed just north of the Sonora exit, and the suspect fled on foot. Officers apprehended him and identified him as Charles Austin of Louisville…
