LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person is dead after a highway accident early Sunday morning.
Around 12:15 a.m. Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to Preston highway and Industrial Boulevard for reports of an injury accident.
Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle that had hit a person in a wheelchair. Louisville Fire arrived on scene and pronounced the individual from the wheelchair dead. The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot prior to police arrival…
