LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Salvation Army of Louisville launched an “emergency food campaign” Monday after stockpiles at their food pantry have almost been depleted.
Louisville area Commander Major Mark Hunter said months of rising food costs is taking a toll on Louisville families.
“They’re scared,” Hunter said. “They’re continuing to see that it’s not getting any better, so they’re worried, like most of us are. And so, hopefully the community can come together, help us be prepared for whatever may come in the next weeks or months.”…
