Old Louisville ramen shop closes more than 1 year after fire from fatal crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An Old Louisville ramen shop announced that it was permanently closing its doors on Wednesday.

Renshoku Ramen published a social media post on Wednesday, Oct. 29, saying that it would be the restaurant’s last day of service.

The business suffered a major setback in June of 2024 when it had to temporarily close for three months after a car driving on the wrong side of the road crashed into a nearby tree, causing a fire that spread to the building, and killing the driver…
