FRANKFORT, Ky. – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced on Friday, October 31, 2025, that his Louisville-based Violent Crime Reduction Team (VRT) secured felony indictments against two individuals in separate gun-related cases.
A Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted Joseph Thomas Williams, 44, and Geoffrey Dewayne Martin, 38, on the following charges:
Joseph Thomas Williams was indicted for:
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon (Class C Felony)
- Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License (Class B Misdemeanor)
Geoffrey Dewayne Martin was indicted for:
- Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon (Class C Felony)
