LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In the aftermath of UPS Flight 2976, officials are actively monitoring the site of the crash to ensure air and water quality are safe for those nearby.
“A lot of people who were there or in the very vicinity of that area within, say, a mile or so that we have to be careful about to see if there are any long-term consequences,” said Aruni Bhatnagar, University of Louisville professor of medicine.
