Louisville 911 lines restored after ‘technical problems’

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro 911 lines were down for about an hour Thursday after the system experienced “technical problems.”

In a “Public Safety Alert” that was sent to cellphones in Louisville just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday, officials said people who need to reach an emergency operator should call MetroSafe Communications should call 502-242-8294.

Just before 4:40 p.m., another alert was sent saying everything was restored…
