Local Law Firms File Lawsuits Against UPS After Deadly Plane Crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Two area law firms have announced plans to pursue damages from UPS following the deadly crash of UPS Flight 2976.

Morgan & Morgan has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of three plaintiffs and others potentially affected by the crash. Their clients include:

  • A woman who lived near the crash site and suffered injuries after inhaling toxic smoke.
  • Triple D, Inc., an automotive repair business located in the wreckage path, which was completely destroyed, including all machinery, vehicles, and other assets.
  • Ensey LLC, which owns nearby property that was damaged by chemical contamination.

Both affected properties are located on Phillips Lane, near the crash site.
