Louisville’s Department of Public Health and Wellness is moving to close a Bardstown Road hotel, leaving some residents who live there permanently with little notice to vacate.
The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services suspended a permit for Budgetel Inn & Suites at 3304 Bardstown Road on Nov. 11, according to an email from an employee in the Louisville Metro Office of Social Services that was obtained by The Courier Journal.
“The business has the right to appeal their permit suspension,” Turner said by email. “During the appeal process, they are allowed to continue to operate.”…
