Hey Big Spender, We Found Kentucky’s Most Expensive Restaurant

Every once in a while, even in this economic climate, it’s nice to treat yourself to something special and make yourself feel good by splurging. For me, when I decide to cut loose, I want to eat at a really nice restaurant.

Now I’m not talking about something like a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, where the least expensive steak entree is $52, and the least expensive non-steak entree is $40. By the way, that last item is a stuffed chicken breast; it’s probably tasty, but I’m not dropping 40 singles on a chicken breast.

I’m a cheapskate; my “splurge” cut-off is somewhere in the 30s. But, if money were no object, I’d pause that philosophy and pay a visit to the most expensive restaurant in Kentucky, also a steakhouse.

Louisville is a great foodie city, so it’s not surprising that it’s where you’ll find the most expensive restaurant in the Commonwealth. (Well, one of them, anyway, and I’ll explain that later.)
