LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An event collecting frozen turkeys for Louisville families far exceeded the organizers’ goals. And on Friday the birds landed in homes across the city.

- “Turkey Stock” exceeded their goal collecting over 7,000 turkeys
- Kentucky Harvest was able to donate to more partners
- Exodus Family Ministries recieved turkeys and added them to their holiday boxes
- Along with surpassing their turkey goal, they were also able to collect $85,000 in donations
Phyllis Helm, who received one of the holiday boxes, said the support couldn’t have come at a better time.
