Louisville man wins $20,000 from $2 Pac-Man scratch-off

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Louisville man turned a $2 holiday scratch-off into $20,000.

The man, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Kentucky Lottery officials he had been winning smaller prize amounts on the game, but that all changed after he bought a Kentucky Lottery’s $2 Pac-Man Holiday Scratch-off after work at the Third Street Road Speedway in Louisville.

Officials said he first won $2 on another scratch-off and decided to reinvest it.

“I saw one number, and I laughed. My brother looked at me and said I didn’t know what I was talking about, but I had been playing this Pac-Man game and knew. Usually, the most I have ever won on it was $20; sometimes I have won $4. Once I saw that one number, I went to the car and scratched the rest of the ticket and was like ‘Wowzers,’” the man said…
