LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman died at a Louisville hospital Monday evening after she was hit by a car while riding a “motor type bike” near the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.
Police were called to the 8000 block of Cane Run Road just after 6 p.m. on the reported crash, Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement. That’s near Global Drive, not far from Riverview Park.
Once on scene, police found the crash and began speaking with witnesses. Investigators believe a woman wearing dark clothing was riding a “motor type bike” southbound on Cane Run Road without proper safety equipment, including proper lighting, when she was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
