Southern Indiana housing complex to be demolished after devastating fire in March

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A southern Indiana housing complex that went up in flames in March will soon be leveled.

Parkview Tower was about two-thirds occupied when the fire broke out in the evening hours of March 22. Emergency responders rushed to evacuate residents as thick smoke spread through the floors.

Twenty-three people were sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation, and 50 people were displaced. The fire was contained, but the building was deemed uninhabitable…
