Kentucky starts the morning under a sharp winter chill as icy patches linger on roads and sidewalks. Cold air presses in behind departing snow, leaving slick pavement, frosted windshields, and breath visible with every step outside.
According to the National Weather Service in Louisville, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 a.m. EST, followed by a Cold Weather Advisory through Monday morning. Snow has ended, but numerous slick spots remain across Louisville and much of north-central Kentucky, especially on untreated roads, bridges, and parking lots.
