LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was sentenced to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of murder on Dec. 11.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Gerina D. Whethers said Timothy Wright waived a formal sentencing hearing and was sentenced that same day.
“We have no place for gun violence in our community,” Whethers said of the verdict. “With the life sentence the jury recommended in this case, they reinforced that message. This outcome serves as a reminder to everyone to think twice and put down the gun, or they too will face severe consequences.”…
