Roughly six months after a former senior-ranking official in Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg’s office filed a lawsuit claiming defamation, retaliation and discrimination, the city has countered with its own lawsuit against the now-terminated employee.
In a document filed in Jefferson Circuit Court on Dec. 8, Louisville Metro Government denied many allegations Keisha Dorsey, who served as deputy chief of staff and other roles in Greenberg’s office, lodged in a June lawsuit. The document includes claims that Dorsey received payment for hours she did not work by misrepresenting time sheets.
The city’s counterclaim asks the court for punitive and compensatory damages and for Dorsey to return “all funds unjustly retained.” Dorsey’s salary at the time of her termination was more than $168,000, according to the counter claim…
