LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Monday is National Homeless Persons Memorial Day, and communities like Louisville are recognizing people in the unhoused community who perished in 2025.
It’s an effort to not only remember the people who died through the year but also raise awareness of the hardships faced by the people who live on the street.
As it has done for several years, Wayside Christian Mission held a memorial service at noon Monday on the steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse to honor their memory.
