Louisville man sentenced to 40 years for coercion and exploitation of minor via social media

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man has been sentenced to more than 40 years in federal prison for crimes involving the online coercion, sexual exploitation and transportation of a minor for sex, federal officials confirmed.

Nathaniel Covington, 25, was sentenced to 40 years and six months in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised released. He was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution to the victim.
