A man is dead after sustaining injuries during a Dec. 6 collision near the Russell and California neighborhoods, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD officers responded to a report of a person down near the intersection of South 18th Street and West Broadway in the evening of Dec. 6, spokesperson Adam Sears said. After arriving, emergency services advised that the man appeared to have been hit by a vehicle, Sears said.
