Charges have been filed against a man shot by Louisville Metro Police in the Russell neighborhood last week.
According to an arrest citation, 30 year-old Asa McNealy was charged with wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, after an confrontation with police on West Chestnut Street on December 18.
Louisville Police said the incident started with two back-to-back calls for service alerted by ShotSpotter, which is a gunfire detection system. The system reported 10 rounds of shots from West Chestnut Street near 23rd Street just after 11 a.m…
