1 year since deputy shot, family asks for continued prayers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Saturday marked one year since an Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot while responding to a stalled car just outside of French Lick, Indiana.

The road to recovery has not been easy for Deputy Zac Andry, who was shot four times, with one bullet crossing in front of his brain, causing him to spend more than four months in Frazier Rehab in Louisville before returning home to Orange County in April.

The young dad of three has fought for his life every day and continues to do so…
