Power restored at Louisville public housing complex after fire displaced more than 100 residents

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Power has been fully restored at a Louisville public housing complex after a fire displaced more than 100 residents, according to the Louisville Metro Housing Authority.

The electrical fire and resulting outage occurred at St. Catherine Court on Dec. 28. Officials later determined that a small cardboard box that caught fire inside a trash chute caused the outage.
