Louisville woman faces DUI, child endangerment charges after weekend crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman accused of causing a crash while driving impaired with her children in the car over the weekend faced a judge Monday.

It happened just before midnight Sunday, according to court documents. Police said 33-year-old Tori Tinsley left the scene of a crash after she hit a vehicle while driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Baxter Avenue, near Edenside Drive.

As officers were responding the scene, they were told the driver was trying to leave the scene. Police said they found Tinsley and her two children hiding in the bushes in the 1500 block of Eastern Parkway. Tinsley at first denied driving the car but admitted to officers at the scene that she smoked spice earlier in the day, according to court documents…
