Community volunteers help JCPS student who suffered medical emergency at school bus stop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Jefferson County Public School student who suffered a medical emergency at a Louisville bus stop Thursday morning was helped by volunteers watching over students in the area.

Kamal Wells, the founder of Men Against Gun Violence, was among the volunteers at the bus stop on 10th Street and Chestnut when the incident occurred.

“There’s over 100, I think 150 kids at that particular bus stop in the mornings. So, I’m watching,” Wells said…
