LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An early-morning fire in east Louisville displaced more than 20 residents and left 10 units uninhabitable, fire officials said.
According to a news release Monday from Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS, crews were alerted to the fire at the multi-unit apartments in the 10000 block of Summit Park Place, near the intersection of U.S. 22 and Chamberlain Lane, just before 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Firefighters arrived within four minutes and found heavy flames coming from the central portion of the second and third floors, as well as the attic, according to the release. Crews immediately began fire suppression and search-and-rescue operations, but no one was found…
