KENTUCKY — A death investigation is underway after a person was found dead Friday morning in downtown Louisville, according to police.
Officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department were called around 6:30 a.m. to the area of Brook and Gray streets, near several hospitals, after receiving a report of a person down. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered an individual who had died, police said.
LMPD spokesperson Adam Sears said the department’s LMPD Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. Authorities noted that the case is still in its early stages, and no additional details about the person’s identity or the circumstances surrounding the death have been released…
