Louisville man sentenced to 10 years as persistent felony offender

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Louisville man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found to be a persistent felony offender.

On Friday, Attorney General Russell Coleman announced that 28-year-old Infonte Shoulders pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon (Class C Felony) and second-degree being a persistent felony offender.

According to a news release, in December 2024, LMPD detectives saw Shoulders reportedly about to get into a car on West Muhammad Ali Boulevard, and Shoulders, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, fled from the police.

A short time later, police took him into custody, and they discovered a handgun in his front pocket…
